Performance tailored to PRP protocols
The EBA 200 centrifuge features a built-in 8-place fixed-angle rotor, compatible with centrifuge tubes up to 15 ml, the standard format for PRP kits available on prpfirst.com. Its maximum speed of 6,000 rpm (max RCF: 3,461 g) enables effective separation of blood fractions within the operating times typical of PRP protocols.
The fixed angle of the rotor, maintained between 25° and 40°, ensures a stable and reproducible sedimentation path from one cycle to the next, an essential condition for consistent platelet concentrations between sessions.
Precise control and flexible parameter settings
The front control panel allows independent adjustment of four key parameters:
- Speed: direct entry in rpm or RCF (relative centrifugal force)
- Time: built-in timer with automatic stop
- Acceleration and deceleration: selectable rate to adapt the ramp-up speed to the sample type
- End-of-cycle notification: visual signal (flashing backlight) and audible alert, each independently configurable
The tiltable LCD screen ensures comfortable reading regardless of the installation environment.
Ergonomics designed for daily clinical use
Compact (261 x 353 x 228 mm, 9 kg), the EBA 200 fits easily on a standard worktop. Its noise level of 50 dB(A) or below does not disturb the consultation environment. The lid lock is automatic during rotation and only releases once the rotor has come to a complete stop, in accordance with EN/IEC 61010-2-020 safety standards.
